AMMUNITION LIVE AT FRONTIERS ROCK FESTIVAL, ITALY
"Ammunition have their own park of well written songs. Let's hope the singers promise that this band is in it for a very long run becomes a reality"
Live Review by CLASSIX METAL & CLASSIX! MAGAZINE by Gabriele Castilla
Norwegian Ammunition make their entrance on the stage of the FRF when the Live Club is already almost completely full. Unfortunately, however, their performance was partly devastated by a couple of major technical problems, which interrupted tension and continuity. Nonetheless, however, the Scandinavians drew a very tight set, proposing songs from the last release, the recent and self-titled 'Ammunition', but also by the debut 'Shanghaied', with the leader Age Sten Nielsen in great vocal form. The vocalist, who also worked on the rhythm guitar, repeatedly interacts with the audience, also tempering the obvious nervousness due to iterated technical interruptions. Ammunition unravel their performance following the style of the most classic Scandinavian rock, focusing mainly on their tunes, among them the lion 'Tear Your City Down' or the hit 'Wrecking Crew', but also taking our breath away with the power ballad 'Road to Babylon'.

The performance of all the other members of the band is also quite remarkable. This is undoubtedly a band that makes originality its workhorse, but on the other hand, Ammunition have their own park of well written songs that are direct, enfilading and enthralling live. Let's hope the singers promise that this band is in it for a very long run
becomes a reality.
